A friendly, community focused club in Wantage
Welcome to The Comrades Club, where members can meet up and enjoy a pint of Arkell's real ale or a choice of lagers from £4.00, or play darts, pool at 50p per game or snooker for just £4 per hour.
Members also enjoy discounts on hire fees for our fantastic function room for that special occasion, from gender reveal to wedding to celebration of a loved one.
With single membership costing just £30 per year, or joint membership just £50 there's no better time to drop in and meet the team who will be happy to show you around and get your membership up and running.
Looking for an event venue?
With versatile seating for up to 100 guests and full bar facilities our function room is the perfect venue for that birthday, anniversary, business meeting, or charity fundraiser. we also offer bespoke wedding packages, including themed room decoration, catering and DJ to make that special occasion unforgettable for you and your guests
Upcoming Events
We also stage a number of events for members through the year, ranging from carveries and quiz nights to karaoke and bands as well cash bingo twice per week. In addition, we also host monthly performances by local jazz club

New members are always welcome at Comrades Club Wantage. At £30 for single or £50 for couples, membership is great value and offers a range of privileges including 20% discount on bar purchases and function room hire, unlimited access to snooker, and part ownership of a club formed over 100 years ago and still owned and run by the members.
